As I’m not easy with english language, it took me some time for my 2 pence.
I’m quite afraid with this kind of images (cf the 8 same girl behind 5 different backgrounds made by DH), just for transform my (yours) photos I intented to do, for results which wille provide so many photos having same artificials backgrounds; one more thing, change the skies, your photo will be perfect 🤣 ☹️

To expand upon what others are reporting: in the Effects, Textures, I have access to to 25 Tyler textures, and 25 Tyler Soft textures. If I apply them from there, they work great. If I select one of the Tyler Soft presets it says it’s applied and has the Tyler Soft category shown but there are no items in the drop to select the actual texture.

I was hoping that meanwhile someone from ON1 would have made a reply and offered a solution. Looks like most (if not all) of us have the TSMB textures that came with the 2026.2 update, but they don’t seem to work.

Can someone please tell me how to access the free content? I have opened the program and it has “installed” a category of preset titled Tyler Soft Magic Backgrounds which contain TSMB presets 1-25. My problem is that there is no actual preset attached to this! They are all non-functional. I also don’t have the picture shown in the article to identify the preset. I have gone into the “manage extras” and they presets are also listed there however not in the textures. I’m not the most computer savvy person but it seem that this did not download or install properly with the update and I have no idea where to go from here!

I do find Tyler Soft Magic Backgrounds (TSMB1-25) both under Presets in the left panel and under Manage Extras/Presets, but I have no idea how they can be used, because they don’t do anything on a portrait I would like to try out. I’m running ON1 PR 2026.2 on an M1 Mac OS Tahoe 26.2.
Whilst a randomly chosen preset like Urban Metal immediately shows up on the thumbnails, I see no difference at all with the 25 TSMB presets.
So a tutorial on how to apply these presets would be welcome.

Looks like they tried to download, but somehow did not complete the process in presets. Same issue as Dave Moore.

Neither did the textures download.

I can identify with a slump after moving from Northern California to Fort Worth. I was mainly a landscape photographer. My new interest here in Texas is wild-life photography, especially birds. Really enjoying my new 200-800 mm lens for this. Also doing a lot of close-up photos with a 100mm prime. Just a change in emphasis from oceans, waterfalls, forests, and mountains. Interesting post and thanks for sharing presets.
