One more additional advise for this new feature. During tonal and color correction of EAW or TIFF files of color negatives existing film grain become to obvious and destructing image quality. And, natural wish is to use noise reduction to make film grain less noticeable, but modern noise reduction algorithms from any software developer (including On1) did not work with film grain. This would be perfect if you can help to control visibility of existing film grain adapting existing color and total correction algorithms to work with digital film negative.

Hi, I’m so glad to see such nice add on to the new On1 Photo Raw. Even now having modern mirrorless camera I’m shooting film a lot. Because I like square negatives format, develop B&W films and I like different colors of color negatives. In the future releases you can add different color reproduction scheme emulating film colors of Kodak Portra, Fujifilm Velvia, etc… Please think how to create a batch process which includes camera tethering to digitize the film and automatic conversion to a color positive.

Looks very interesting. I have a lot of old negatives I am thinking of scanning next year.
