This shot was taken at the end of Waldo Street, Manitowoc Wisconsin. It’s a concrete pier ruins that juts out into Lake Michigan. You can see the Manitowoc pier head/light house in the back ground. Al ser una foto tomada el 3/01/2009 con una de mis primeras cámaras digitales Nikon D80y con unas condiciones de luz muy precarias, me atreví tomar la foto estando frente a esta escena muy particular de una familia, en donde esta la madre con su amiga conversando, a su lado esta la hermana sin saber que hacer, pues su hermana esta con su novio aprevechando un descuido para robarle un beso a su novio. Ahhh y Firulary (el perro) mas bien aprovecha el tiempo para dormir. Estos fueron los parametro de la toma: Nkon D80. ISO 1600. VELOCIDAD: 1/30. APERTURA: f/5. HORA 23:38:30. No se utilizo Flashes.

This was taken at a campground during the day in 2026. The RV was very retro and I thought the yellow juxtaposed nicely with the blue barrel. Taken with a Fuji X100v at 320 ISO, f2, 1/10000.

After arriving at the Cholla Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree National Park in the middle of the night for a Milky Way shot, we decide to stay until dawn. We were rewarded with a beautiful image of color from the approaching dawn over Pinto Basin, along with the triangle of the moon, Venus, and Jupiter in the sky. This was completely happenstance

We planned a trip through the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. I was sad that I missed a photo of a bald eagle on the beach as we made our way towards Cape Flattery. We arrived at the Neah Bay / Makah Reservation Harbor to find a DOZEN or more bald eagles enjoying their morning breakfast. I put my iPhone down and grabbed my Canon 7D MkII and my 100-400 mm L glass and stood in awe while I took 300 images! I have only just started to take a look through them but every single one makes me smile. Watch the pure simple majestic character of these birds was worth the entire trip!

It was around sunset, and I wanted an image of the moon over Morro Rock. The sky was very clear, and there was a beautiful light gradient across the sky as the sunset was on the right side of the frame (out of the frame), and the moon was to the left. From this particular angle I was able to capture the light gradient. The transition of light into darkness with the one point of light remaining, the moon. Black and White was the best way to show this transition.

Every afternoon Oz expects family time and will grab his ball for play time.

My local birding park May 2026. Hawthorn trees , and other flowering bushes were in bloom. One particular Hawthorn tree was in the shade. One never knows when a hummingbird will come along. I saw some movement near the flowers. The hummingbird was facing in the wrong direction so I wasn’t able to catch all of the iridescent colours.

I have a white Tea Rose in my garden.It has not bloomed much for many years. This year I saw some pink tinge on the edges. June 2026 at my residence. Time of day was around noon (worst time of day !). The sun wasn’t shining directly onto the rose , but was a bit from behind and the side. I deliberately underexposed.
